Budget notebooks

Budget notebooks are a tough market for manufacturers. They have to produce quality systems for as little as possible and that often involves tradeoffs in hardware and software features. Most budget-minded buyers prefer minimum of what they need, without all the pricey add-ons and the razzmatazz of polished exteriors and luxurious extras. We highlight some points to look into when deciding on a laptop.

Price

Look for decent performance, wired and wireless networking options, within the range of $4500 till $8500. Unless you are absolutely sure of the purchase, check whether you can go in for a higher version or specification budget notebook that gives basic performance and acceptable build quality.
